Goldie Hawn is an actress, producer, director, author, and children’s advocate. She founded The Hawn Foundation in 2003 to equip children with social and emotional skills needed to lead smarter, healthier, and happier lives. The foundation applies cutting-edge research to create programs that support the social and emotional development of children. It developed MindUP™, an evidence-based curriculum and teaching model for primary school. Hawn has published two best-selling books ,a memoir A Lotus Grows in the Mud and 10 Mindful Minutes. Her film career spans five decades, from the 1960s through the 2000s. She won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the 1969 film Cactus Flower.
