We believe the wellbeing of all people is important.

At Lead with Love we’ve created uplifting and transformative events since 2014 in Aspen, Colorado, our homebase, as well as in some of the most interesting and intriguing places on earth. If you’ve been on a retreat with us somewhere exotic like Bali or India or somewhere yummy like Italy or France you know these events are life-changing. Our events in the Aspen area knit the community together and offer enriching opportunities to evolve and grow our consciousness toward a more loving and caring state.

We believe these opportunities shouldn’t just be for people who have extra money.

Those of us lucky enough to have our basic needs met and still have some extra cash at the end of the month are the lucky ones. As a public not-for-profit organization our mission at Lead with Love is to make wellbeing accessible to everyone. That was the intention behind our original iterations as Aspen Yoga Society and The Aspen City of Wellbeing and it is not lost today as we focus our energy on our Care for the Caregivers (C4C) Program in partnership with CASA of the Ninth as well as our global retreats.

In September 2023 when we hosted our La Dolce Vita Lead with Love retreat in Italy we were able to sponsor four amazing caregivers to attend the retreat on scholarship. Read below about their experiences and the organizations they represent. By caring for these caregivers, we truly believe it creates a ripple effect of wellbeing for the people they serve and that can shift consciousness and uplift humanity.

While our monthly Care for Caregivers (C4C) Program in the Roaring Fork Valley offers a complementary one-day retreat for caregivers there is nothing like gifting a high-end, all-inclusive, multi-day retreat to someone who has dedicated their life to serving others. It is our mission to support these people and offer them the incredible opportunity to rest, rejuvenate and be seen and celebrated in a setting that they could not otherwise afford.

Since our inception we have been personally covering costs and raising funds from people like you to offer scholarships to people to come to our events, workshops and retreats to make wellbeing accessible to all.

$5000 - Would you like to sponsor a caregiver for our upcoming yoga, meditation and sound healing retreat in Crete, Greece May 26-June 1? This is a trip of a lifetime for a heart-centered hero who serves others. A $5000 donation will cover everything but airfare for 6 nights at an incredible location. Airfare to be covered by participants.

$500 - Sponsor a Caregiver for our Care for the Caregivers Day Retreats at True Nature in Carbondale that include yoga, sound healing, nutritious lunch and group processing.

Lead with Love Criteria for Caregivers:

While everyone in some capacity is a caregiver as we all have to at least take care of ourselves, the intent of our Care for the Caregivers (C4C) program is to offer services and support for people who work professionally as caregivers for a 501(c)3 non-profit organization or government agency. While some exceptions will be made by discretion of the LWL Board of Directors the recipients of our grants for retreats will be prioritized as follows:

The individual works at a 501(c)3 non-profit organization or government agency that supports neglected and abused children;
Priority is given to any individual who works with a local or national CASA or GAL organization;
The individual manages or oversees staff;
The individual lives in the Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado;
The individual works in mental health care serving children or people who serve children.

How are the caregivers chosen for local programs or for annual, multi-day retreat?

For any of our Care for Caregiver Programs Lead with Love will place ads on social media and make multiple social media posts about the opportunity. Lead with Love will send newsletters to our list to promote the opportunity. People who see the posts or get the newsletter can nominate themselves or someone they know or work with for one of our granting opportunities by sending us an email or a DM on Instagram and by using our “Nominate a Caregiver” form on our website and on our Linktree on Instagram.

Lead with Love also manages a list of caregivers in the Roaring Fork Valley that has been curated by the Lead with Love Board of Directors and CASA of the Ninth. This group is a vetted group of individuals who meet some or all of the above criteria. This group will be specifically targeted with promotion of upcoming opportunities.

The Lead with Love Board of Directors will meet monthly to look at nominees and determine who to invite to the annual retreat and to the local C4C events, and will notify the person in writing. The selected individual has one week to accept the gift otherwise the board will pick an alternate person to gift the opportunity to.

Why Sponsor a Caregiver?

We believe the wellbeing of one is connected to the wellbeing of all. Caregivers in our culture are consistently underpaid and overworked for essential positions such as caring for children who are entering foster care or children who are neglected and abused. It is essential that we start to celebrate a culture of service and help to support the people who are supporting others in the mental health arena, child welfare, animal welfare and environment. In many ways our society rewards people who trample others and make money off of exploiting others. Those that dedicate their lives to service need to be supported, celebrated and given a break so they can do the essential work they are called to do. This is the ripple effect of wellbeing and our mission at Lead with Love to serve those who serve.
