In order to be eligible for the the Lead With Love Scholarship nominees must be at least thirteen (13) years of age or older as of October 1, 2017. Scholarship Recipients may be nominated as set forth herein or chosen by Aspen City of Wellbeing. People submitting nominations ("Nominator(s)") must be at least thirteen (13) years of age as of October 1, 2017. The Scholarship Program is open to Eligible Nominees worldwide. Employees and immediate family members of Aspen City of Wellbeing and Living Peace Foundation and its subsidiaries of the Sponsorship Program as well as are not eligible to participate in the Scholarship Program or submit nominations.
All finalists are expected to cover the costs of their travel to Aspen from October 26-29, 2017.
Nominations:
To submit your nomination for the Scholarship Program please fill out the submission form on the Scholarships page of the Lead With Love Website, providing all required contact information for you and your nominee. Nominations MUST be submitted online. Mail-in nominations will not be accepted. Nominations must be submitted on behalf of another person. Self-nominations will not be accepted. Nominations must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time on October 11, 2017. Nominations must be submitted in English only. Nominations may only be submitted in the name of a single person; group nominations are not acceptable. False or deceptive nominations or acts may render a nominee ineligible. All nominations become the property of Aspen City of Wellbeing and will not be returned. Aspen City of Wellbeing reserves the right to edit the nomination as it sees fit for use in publication or promotion.
Privacy:
Nominees may be contacted to provide additional information and have their information verified. Aspen City of Wellbeing reserves the right to request and require additional information from nominees in order to have their nomination considered.
Judging:
Twenty Five (25) Scholarship Recipients will be awarded from all Eligible Nominees and eligible individuals chosen.
• A Scholarship review panel will select twenty five (25) Recipients.
• The review panel will be made up of two (2) staff and/or board members from Aspen City of Wellbeing and (2) from Living Peace Foundation.
All Recipients are subject to verification by Aspen City of Wellbeing and must meet all eligibility requirements including the execution and return of all necessary releases, or they may be disqualified.
Notification and Publication:
Nominees will be notified by email or phone on October 13th, 2017 and may be required to submit additional information.
Recipients deemed by Aspen City of Wellbeing and Living Peace Foundation to meet the requirements set forth herein may be presented online and for public viewing.
Recipients will be requested to submit a testimonial onsite and/or after the event for the purpose of advertising and publicizing the services of the scholarship.
Taxes
Schoalrship Recipients are responsible for the reporting and payment of all taxes as well as any other costs and expenses associated with acceptance and use of the scholarship not specified herein as being awarded. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the taxation of your Scholarship since special rules may apply.
Prize:
25 Scholarships will be award to 25 Recipients. The scholarship includes a full 4-day Pass to Lead With Love, including breakfast and lunch daily, all programming in the McNulty Room, all programming in the Kaufman and all E-Track and C-Track Programming (Valued at $899). Hotel accommodations and travel are not included.
