Teresa Kay-Aba Kennedy is an internationally acclaimed speaker/moderator, master coach, award-winning author and seasoned yoga/meditation teacher. Called “smart with a heart,” Terri has been featured on the cover of Yoga Journal, in Oprah’s book, Live Your Best Life!, and in media outlets such as CNN, NBC, Prevention, SELF and Essence. In 2009, she was selected as a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader recognizing her “professional accomplishments, commitment to society and potential for shaping the future of the world.” Her weekly Dose of Power Living goes out every Monday to loyal readers across the globe.

Terri started yoga when she was four years old and has 40+ years of exploring the mind-body-spirit connection. Her original yoga training was at Integral Yoga Institute, and she participated in one of the last Satsang gatherings with Sri Swami Satchidananda before he transitioned in 2002. She studied Raja Yoga meditation, Buddhist meditation, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and World Religions, and studied with great yoga teachers including Srivatsa Ramaswami, Swami Ramananda, Dharma Mittra, and Tao Porchon-Lynch. 

Now, Terri travels the globe moderating “Conversation with a Master” events with the oldest yoga master in the world, 99-year-old Tao Porchon-Lynch. Over the last ten years, they have done programs at the Pentagon, United Nations, World Government Summit in Dubai, and other incredible locations. In January 2017, Tao and Terri were featured in the Athleta Power of She campaign for their inspiring work together. The book they co-authored, Dancing Light: The Spiritual Side of Being Through the Eyes of a Modern Yoga Master, has won 10 national and international awards.
